Patient Guide
What to Bring
Before undergoing any procedure, diagnostic test, or surgery, please bring the following information:
- A list of all of the medications you are currently taking. This includes prescription medication as well as over-the-counter medications (such as vitamins, supplements, Claritin, Pepcid, etc.). Your list should include the product name, dosage, how often and why you take the medication. It’s important to include vitamins and supplements because they can interact with prescription medications and influence diagnostic tests, hindering proper care.
- The name of your primary care physician.
- List of any allergies.
- Insurance card
- Date of flu or pneumonia vaccines
Personal Items
Although it is our goal to take care of your belongings, we are not responsible for lost or missing personal items. We strongly encourage our patients to leave significant sentimental and valuable items at home.
Smoking Policy
George Regional Health System is a smoke-free campus. To help protect the health of our staff, patients, and visitors, smoking is not allowed.
